Interactive Light and Sound Table

The goal is to develop an interactive sound and light table

The project requirements are:

1. easily portable;
2. batteries for 12 h or connected to the mains power;
3. user interface should be simple and intuitive;
4. resistant to scratches;
5. waterproof
6. adopt appropriate materials;
7. IR sensors
8. Compliant with the 2006/42/CE 2006‐05‐17, 2005/95/CE 2006‐12‐2

and ROHS EU Directives;

1. Comply with the following EU Directives:
   1. Machine Directive (2006/42/CE 2006-05-17);
   2. Electrical Safety: Low Level Voltage Directive (2006/95/CE 2006-12-12);
   3. Restriction of Hazardous Substances (ROHS) in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2002/95/EC 2003-01-27);
2. Mandatory adoption and use of the International System of Units (The NIST International Guide for the use of the International System of Units)
3. Use open source technologies.
